    Let me know what you think. I value your opinions.
    If you were trying to convey sunshine I think it is the brown and green that give it a muted feel. If you used a brighter green and maybe a brighter color than the brown it would seem to convey sunshine. To me sunshine is brightness. That being said some times a darker contrast will make a light or bright color seem brighter. So the brown with a brighter green might be a good mix. Or keep the green and use a brighter color than the brown, like a yellow or orange, or peach- something in the warm area. Maybe using a flower print with the warmer colors in a bright hue to replace the brown in the brown pinwheel and keep the green you have to counter balance and brighten it.
    Sometimes quilts have a mind of their own and you just have to accept that. Your quilt is lovely. Besides it is all a fabulous experience this connecting with outselves and our creativity.

    I think that it looks great. maybe if you can get to the center of the blue blocks and take the two center ones out and use a square in a square for two blocks in the two floral fabric or maybe make 1/2 square triangles and then sew them together and put them in the center. that way you can really see the floral fabric. I think that it looks great the way that it is.

    I think its pretty too. If you are wanting more flower to show, maybe add another border of your flower fabric.

    Very Nice. happy Thanksgiving
    I agree with adding a flower border - maybe make the current gold/yellow border narrower with a wide flower border, then bind in the gold/yellow.
    If you decide you REALLY don't like I'd be glad to give you my address (-;

    I agree with the person who stated that sometimes quilts have a mind of their own, and you just have to accept that. This top is absolutely beautiful. The blue is very cheery, but without the outer colors it would be overwhelming, I think. Maybe you have been too close to it and need a break. Put it up for a day or several, and then look at it again. You may feel completely different!

    I think it's pretty.. but if you were trying to emphasize the flowers, the blue is a bit overpowering for it. That being said I LOVE that blue!!!

    It definitely reminds me of water, flora and earth. You did a great job on it. Very soothing.
