I'm going to look up the "warm wishes" that was mentioned.

Yes, I think I'll try to reproduce with modifications. I'm not sure I like those spool blocks with the limited tools that I have with me. It will be a couple of weeks so I'll post a picture when I make the prototype block. If I used jellyroll size fabrics, it'll make a big block - around 18 inches. Now that's a big block. Thanks everyone.

Exactly!! What fun for you to see a quilt on a puzzle and to actually make it!! Please post the puzzle picture again when you post the top!

Does the puzzle box have any information on it?

Is that a spool.. or just a square in a square.. no pattern needed.. same for the other 2.. all can be strip pieced in one method or another.
Hmm.. I need a "thank you" lap quilt.. this might be just the thing..

You should be able to re create this one pretty easily... break it down into the induvidual blocks; rail fence, nine patch, spools... looks like it's set on point.
I attempt at least one block, and see how I felt about it.
    Good luck

It could be a print of Diane Phelan's but I don't have the time at the moment to do any checking....off to work.

well looks like rail fence blocks and nine patches. the corner ones could be made up too. then combine for the larger block effect in the pic.
