    Isn't it aggravating that you can "see" things after the project is complete that didn't appear before when you could have changed them? I love the quilt but would have put a slightly darker grey on for a border to frame the quilt.

    I did about the same thing but a border on and now I don't know to take if off or not.. Good Luck.

    Just a thought, maybe consider using a tea bath when it is finished to dim the blue and bring it all together?

    For me, the border immediately drew my eyes away from those gorgeous blocks. I think instead of framing the blocks, your border overwhelms them.

    The border immediately draws your eyes to the frame. I think it minimizes the effect of the blocks.
