I use to be hard on myself also, go take a walk in a quilt shop and really look at the quilts. Being a quilter you can spot the smallest of errors. No one makes the perfect quilt.

If that is the worst I did, I would be thrilled beyond belief! Not a thing wrong with your quilt. I think all of us are way too hard on ourselves. If you look at the quilts our granny's made, you would find alot more mistakes, they were far from perfect. (At least the ones I have seen). I think so many of us strive for absolute perfection, where it doesn't exsist. Girl, just do the best you can and be thrilled when you finish it.

I agree. You are being way to hard on yourself. Once it is quilted you will hardly notice it. Someone once said " If you can't see it from a galloping horse don't worry about it." Of course, I can be hard on myself too. Honestly though I don't think it will be noticeable. But, if it will drive you insane then I say rip it. It all depends on if you can live with it. Is this a gift ? Will you ever see it again?

I think you did a great Job on it. As someone said once you put your ties in the slight difference will disappear.

Cna I just say, if I ever had seams that were that close, I would be stoked! I am a beginner though so maybe I will be more particular as I get more experienced? It looks good to me! I wouldn't touch it, b/c knowing my luck, in my quest to fix something that is in all reality perfectly fine, I would totally mess it up! (Trust me, I have cut a hole right in the middle of a piece of fabric trying to trim it just that little bit more) But maybe that's just me ;)

I just got back from a sew day at my quilt buddy's house. I was working on some stars. No...they do not line up perfectly. I don't care, it's good 'nuff for me and sure as the world, last block I sewed together was totally wrong! I knew then it was time to pack it up for the day!

I have used one like it for 20 years and I don't even notice it anymore! Once it's quilted it is even harder to see! Leave it alone! I promise not to send the QP to your house!

We see it now because the focus lense of the camera is pointed right at the offending corner. I bet once the entire piece is put together, you'll be hard-pressed to find the flaw. I would leave it. (Experience has taught me that lesson).
