great idea gonna start doing this. it will help out alot of birds. i go through alo
t of thread.
[ATTACH=CONFIG]291603[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]291604[/ATTACH]I save the threads I cut and put into my thread catcher and put into this onld onion bag and in the Spring I hang it outside and the birds use the threads to help build their nests! Talk about recycling! lol

Love this idea. I knew I was saving those bags for something! Last spring I was brushing (rather than vacuuming later) the excessively shedding fur of my cat out on the deck. I left the clumps of fur out there. Shortly afterward, I heard a very insistent bird call and looked to see what the racket was all about. It was a tufted titmouse shoving the first clump into it's beak. It flew off but returned over and over until all the fur was gone. What a warm cozy nest that must have created!
