    Never heard of the book, but you could draft the design on Quilter's graft paper.......looks very easy. If you dafted it, you could make the blocks any size you wanted.....both blocks are the same size.

    Not only would I draft that block out, but I would make copies and paper piece it. The very narrow strips would come out much better for me with paper piecing. Love the quilt.

    Here is the block. Both blocks are the same only reverse fabrics. Linda B's idea of paper piecing this is perfect!
