Does anyone know what this fabric is?

I'm not sure that I understand your question. The fabric pictured could be small blocks of various fabrics sewn together, or, it could be a 'cheater' fabric -- printed to look like many small blocks sewn together.
If this does not answer your question, please clarify.

Hi all, sorry I should have added more info.
No clue what it is, or where it's from I saw it on the cover of a japanese book about cloth dolls and just love it!
Was hoping someone would remember seeing it somewhere, as I cant read Japanese, I can't figure out who the publishers is or I would write to them.
Thanks anyways! I guess it would have been easier to ask if someone knew who still has some stock of an Engelbreit fabric I'm also looking for!
