My first photo, hope it works. Sorry it is a little fuzzy, from the cell phone. I knew if I left for the camera they would follow and I would never get the picture.

My cat USED to sit on the ironing board--until it fell over because it was sooooooo overloaded!

Poor kitty, never seen him up there since.

I am so pleased I was able to attach a photo so easily, I just assumed it would be difficult.

This scene just struck me as so funny. I had just spent a few hours in the stash separating fabrics and selecting for a few projects. I stepped out of the room for just a few minutes as the iron was warming up and when I returned they had already decided it was a now a new napping station.

p.s. They have tipped that board over several times, didn't bother them at all.

My two cats, Tribble and Skeezix, love to be in the sewing room. They stay off the ironing board but are frequently up by the sewing machine and cutting area. One of them almost always gets on my chair as soon as I get up and go to the ironing board or cutting mat, and then acts all huffy when I want my chair back. And Skeezix loved to take all my pins out of my pin cushion. She has finally stopped that bad habit.

Nope, the boys are allowed in my room but they HAVE to behave or they get the boot. Monty usually hops up on top of the cabinet and watches me. I call him King of the mountain. Bean tries to burrow into the corner where my bagged batting lives. I locked him in once and now I keep an eye on both my monsters. They WILL jump on a quilt when I try to sandwich and I take that as an "approval" - but that's it.

Oh boy, that looks like my house. I set everything up and turn around for a minute and the cats take over.

Mine does that too. Then stretches out to maximize the coverage.
Then presses the "hair release" button.
