so these are manily for hand quilting . and not for sewing machine quilting ? I can pick this up for 50.00 but wasnt sure if i needed this or not when i start quilting . Thank you all for ur help . i hope more comes back to me as i go I was lil when i helped grandma / moons a go /

Looks like a quick snap frame to me. A twist on traditional quilting frames. Used for hand quilting, and if thats what you do, could be usefull. Takes up less space than some hand quilting frames.

I have one, and DO NOT LIKE IT! The top PVC pipe doesn't hold down the quilt - it is constantly popping off and the tension of the quilt is gone. It becomes such a frustration!
With that said... I have used it and used those plastic "wire ties" to hold the top PVC pipe down when I am trying to hand quilt a smaller quilt than the frame. It does take up quite a bit of room, about 2'x4', so if you don't have the room consider using a hoop.
I finally have become so frustrated with this product that I have it in my yardsale pile for next spring!
