    i love the blocks. but the points on the full open flower keep it from reminding me of a rose. jmho.

    Put the blocks in a quilt layout, remove the lines and only have the fabric showing and you can see what the blocks really look like.

    What a gorgeous pattern! Now it is just a fabulous stylized flower. I think it would be "rosier" if you clip off the tips of the larger petals though.
