    Thanks for your comments! The fabric is actually called "Dogs at the Beach". I got it at Jo-Ann's before Christmas and then bought more (after I decided to do an attic windows) late in January. They may still have it.

    Thanks! Someone here suggested previously that I might use a dalmation print and I'm considering that for the back and the binding.....I'd just cut the backing big enough to bring over as binding. Still not sure, though; I would like to work some red in there somehow. Another poster said they bought red & white stripe to go with this fabric and that might work as binding. I didn't like the red that I first considered for a narrow border next to the brown; it just looked muddy. But a red&white stripe would probably be okay.
