Default Dogs at the Beach quilt: Finished!

Thanks to all who made suggestions for the borders of this little quilt.

I decided against the narrow red after auditioning it, and against the blue entirely. I wanted a dark brown as someone here suggested but couldn't find a solid that matched so went with the dark mottled brown, same as the window "facing". As much as I thought it needed more color, I'm pleased with the final result. What do you think?

I love your little quilt and the name is perfect! You made the color choice that was right for you. If you had gone with something you weren't crazy about, that's all you would have noticed and it would have taken the satisfaction out of the project. Well done!

Correction: Well, obviously, this quilt is not "finished". I meant to say the top is finished. I'm thinking of backing and binding it with the dalmatian type print suggested here. Who knows when I'll get it quilted since I've only ever quilted smaller things such as wallhangings, mug rugs, etc. on my DSM. But, I did get a new Brother Innov'is NX450Q for Christmas, so anything's possible.....(when/if I learn how to use it!)
