    Default Doll Crib Quilt

I was invited to my Sis-in-law's for dinner on Christmas at the last minute. I felt I had time to sew two market totes for them.... not. I was sewing the last 12" and broke a needle. Found a replacement and it threaded the first time. After finishing the seam, I saw that I'd sewn the handle to the back side! Ripped it out, finished the seam, and tied a ribbon around them as no time to wrap. Thread ends not trimmed. They loved them, but I didn't get a pic. While there, she told me they pulled her childhood doll crib, made by a family friend, from the attic. She planned to clean it up for her toddler grands to play with but needed a pad for the bottom. I said it needed a quilt. I made no promises. All the kiddos were coming to her house today for a late Christmas. I drove the 1/2 hour over with this quilt made yesterday so the little ones could play with it.

That little quilt will be perfect for the doll crib. So sweet of you to make it for her Grands.
