Default Doll quilt and sleeping bag

A little backstory about the little girl who is the recipient of these gifts. Her name is Cora and she is an absolute doll. Her Mom is dating our son Greg and she has an older brother named Chance. Both her and her brother both call us Grampa and Gramma.
Cora is 5 years old and recently undergone surgery on one of her kidneys. Surgery was successful and she is home now recovering. My older grand daughter had given me a large baby doll (24') tall and he volunteered to go with Cora to the hospital. Cora named him Rowan and the nurses cared for Rowan as much as they did Cora. I was told they even changed his diaper.....lol
Rowan expressed his wish to live with Cora, so I made him a sleeping bag. The doll quilt is for a new arrival that will be here next week. Grampa is taking Cora shopping for a new baby sister for Rowan.
I will post a picture of Rowan in his new sleeping bag this Sunday. And sometime next week I will post "baby sister" with her new quilt.

Sorry the second picture is sideways

Love them both. How sweet that Rowan has good nurses and lucky that he's got a warm sleeping bag. Good Gramma!

So sweet of you and Grandpa. I always made sure the children of my daughters fellas (if any) felt they were part of our family too and had them call me Grammy. My youngest grandchild's name is Rowan. This is first time I have heard of anyone using his name and love that she picked this for her baby's name. Your quilt and sleeping bag are awesome gifts she will cherish for a long time.
