    Default Doll Quilt

I made this cute doll blanket for a friends grand daughter with 3" squares. This is the first time I machine quilted with swirls. Not so perfect, but not bad for the first time. These little quilts are just as much work as a large quilt. Of course dh pointed out that there are 2 yellows next to each other. Why didn't he see that before I began quilting.

Too cute. Who cares if two yellows are together, I'll bet the dolly won't mind and the little girl probably won't even notice. She will love it. I can just see her carrying her dolly around wrapped in this sweet little quilt.

That's adorable! She's going to be so tickled to have a real quilt for her baby dolls to snuggle with. You could always personalize the yellow part with the little girl's name if you wanted to showcase it and make it look like you meant to do that all along

Besides that the 2 yellows are your signature! It is so cute.

I was thinking about machine embroidering the little girls name, but I don't know it. I like Barny's explanation of the double yellows. Thanks all.

Cute quilt. There is no law saying you can't put two yellows together, and I think it adds an element of randomness to the quilt, which is a good thing.
