The left front corner(whitebuttons) are the Letters A-R/special lettering. Middle area--stitch width--Right side is stitch width. Let me know. where were different. Take care, and happy quilting.     It's quite different from mine. I would guess the letters at the upper left in the open top of the machine are built in stitches. Then there are more with cams. I would just set the width to3 (of 5) and stitch them out to see what they look like. I would guess that "special" is using the cams. Mine has wheels instead of the levers, but nothing with letters like that.
