    I absolutely love the DWR but I love all of your quilts. I can't wait to see what it looks like with the border.

    Don, the tan center you are using in the one pic, take that same pattern but cut it in half. Try that out. From the way it looks, you can do it. Look at it good. Make a sample out of a piece of cheap fabric, or take freezer paper or some other paper and make a pattern and see if it fits okay. My Grandmother made mine for my wedding 51 yrs. ago and I made one for my daughter when she got married in 2000. Hers is in browns and peaches.
    I am really proud of it. Good luck and happy piecing.

    Don, you have another winner there!! It's gorgeous and such precise piecing!! Nellie is such a doll!! Bless her heart!! Well, I love the scalloped border as it's the drama of a DWR! I've only made one in mini form and appliqued the whole thing to a square. Hope you decide the best and easiest way to go for the border! It will turn out great whatever you decide!!
