This is the "Twisted 9 Patch" that I made and donated to our grandkids' school for their spring fair. It was sold by live auction for $85. After it was sold, I got a little teary, realizing that I would never see it again! Guess that's not so strange, considering that I spent hours working on it for many, many days! Glad that I was able to help the school on their quest for more playground equipment.

Very pretty - and you did such a wonderful thing to donate it for the auction. Every time you go by the school you can think that a kid is swinging on your quilt!

Congratulations on having the quilt bid so high. And it is definitely worth it. Think of it as a swing, teetoter, slide. Great investment!

Beautiful quilt! I'm glad the school made some money off of it, but it seems like the price was really low for all the fabric and work that went into it, IMOH!!
