This was just given to me by a member of my best friend's quilt guild at the May 2010 meeting.

She did not like the way it turned out...but I just love her hand applique work...will reverse sew and use for outer border edges on the new quilt I am making for my grandmother's birthday quilt.

I feel like I hit the lottery jackpot, and I wasn't even playing...and I just know my grandmother will never believe I did not either make it myself or buy it.

Just a bit of reverse sewing to do, and this will be perfect for a very special, very elderly lady who never had time to make her won dreams come true, she was always too busy serving her family and her community.

Never fret, I will put it to great use. No waste in my rubbish bin.
