If you cannot see the mistake driving by it at twenty feet from the quilt at 20 miles an hour ... there IS NO MISTAKE! LOL
It is a good thing to be the best you can be. It is a good thing to always work on getting better. It is even a good thing to be humble most of the time. However! Anyone who has time to look at a quilt for mistakes needs to go get a job ... they have waayyy too much time on their hands.

not saying that applies to the quilter I quoted ... I thought her remarks were just fine ... I wanted to spin off from what tlrnhi wrote to add to it ...and thinking about an unkind remark from another thread ... I apologize if I hurt anyone's feelings. That was not my intent, though, looking at it, now ... I just am not sure that my intent was conveyed ...
You all do such good work. Even our beginners work diligently to achieve "perfection" ... quilting should bring joy for quilter and recipient, and those of us on the sidelines are doing a good job of cheering everyone on ... I really was cheering ... I am cheering, and am cheered by all of your input and sharing with each other.

It will certainly brighten up a childs day and when they look at it they will think of home. I think you killed two birds with one stone on this one. I love it. I wish we could see a picture of the child who recieves it.
