    Wow, those are gorgeous. Lucky vets. I piece tops for a club that donates to charity and often feel a little guilty about investing so much time in a complex pattern. Many of the members just sew simple block quilts and my efforts often take 4 times as long. For me the process is almost more enjoyable than the finished product. Especially when I am using fabric provided by the club. Luckily for them, none of the other members have suggested I chose simpler patterns.
