    I grew up in SD where the winters are cold as well, so making the quilts is a great idea and I'm sure the kids will love them and cherish them always. What a wonderful thing you are doing, especially as a family project.

    There are so many ways a quilter can share their love for quilting. You have found a special way--children will think they are the greatest. They are beautiful.
