    I know it is not funny to you, but ROFL. At least you just sewed over it and did not rotary cut something off and it left this gap. There is always a silver lining (smile). Thanks for sharing.

    Don't you just hate doing things like that. At least it wasn't a finger. This whole thread made me chuckle.
    Today I was putting new elastic in my son-in-law's swim trunks and sewed the bottom hem into the elastic sleeve. Don't ask!
