    For my 40th birthday everyone had to 'gift' me forty of something. I still have the bag of marbles, etc, but my mother gave me forty hankies. I'm much older now and they were pretty vintage then. I'll have to look at them again.

    Looks like a terrific project.

    I love the arrangement of this handkerchiefs on point. I have a collection stored away from my teen years--think this is the idea I needed to see what I can do with them. Love your quilt.

    I knew I saved all my hankies for some reason. Oh if only I can come anywhere close to creating something as beautiful. I'm sure going to give it a try. Thank you for sharing.

    There are several books on making quilts with hankies and I am taking a class from Cindy Brick at Road to CA on using hankies in quilts. I can hardly wait. I have quite a few.
