    Default Doodle bugs

These are doodle bugs by Annette Ornelas. A square is folded into a triangle and placed on top of a square. This gives the bias edge to pull back to give the curves.

Love it! I’m not sure where the folded piece is but it sure came out cute. A friend of mine just made a car quilt. The cars were all hand Applique and it turned out so cute, too. I would like to make it but I’d need the car digitized into an embroidery design in my format. Yep, I don’t have enough time to to hand embroider a quilt the large throw size like she did.

That's a fun, happy quilt. My brain can't really wrap around just how you did it but I love how it turned out!!

That quilt would have been perfect when our daughter owned a refurbished VW bug back in H.S. She is now 38 LOL. Sooooo cute! Thanks for sharing and the fun technique.
