    Default Door hanging

My mom is in assisted living and like things to hang on her door.
She has been on Lock down since March so I make her a door hanging now and then and send it to her. Not only does she get mail but she gets something new for her door. This is from a book Called 'Wall Quilts for All'. Thanks to my hubby for actually cutting a 1 3/4 inch clay pot in half and drilling holes in each side so I could sew it on instead of using glue.

Simply adorable! I know she will enjoy having that on her door. Such a hard time for our elders who are away from their loved ones.

That is such a cute door hanging! Good for your DH having the patience to cut and drill the pot too, in the past I have found buttons like that, but great you had something at home.
It is always a lift to see something bright and cheerful on the doors when walking down the corridors.
One care home in our area has just started to let one designated family member visit, once a week, and there must be a staff member present.

    That is adorable!
I feel terrible for people in assisted living etc. Such a hard time for them.
