    Default Door hanging

My mom is in assisted living and likes to have something on her apartment door. I make small quilted wall hangings for her. She likes bright colors since she is losing her sight. It is a great conversation starter with her and the other residents and staff. This one is from a pattern called Hootsville Row by Sassafras Lane Designs. It is all from scraps.

How adorable & how thoughtful of you to make those for her. Another member of this board has made those before for her mom as it makes it easy for her mom to find her way back to her room when she's away. Your mom will love that & thanks for sharing it with us.

Very cute! I remember the wreaths and door hangers the ladies had in my mom's assisted living facility.

I did the same thing for my mom and each month it was the talk of her wing. LOL Love your owl and thoughtfulness.

That is so cute! And all made with "found" fabrics, yay! Your Mom will smile each time she walks in or out.

That's cute, Mary. It should bring cheer to all who see it.
