Default Doris' Eagle Scout quilt for her grandson

For July, Doris chose to piece a quilt for her grandson, who has earned his Eagle Scout badge. She designed his quilt around an eagle pattern from Eleanor Burns. A friend of her's supplied a print fabric from which she cut the words "On my Honor; Loyal; Do a Good Turn Daily; Brave; Friendly; Helpful; Honorable, and others which she appliqued on the inter corner blocks. She even found a fabric boy scout badge - "Eagle Scout * Boy Scouts of America" to add to this quilt. Doris always chooses colors and does a wonderful job of putting her quilts together without a printed pattern. The quilt measures 91x90 and Hobbs 80/20 batting is used.

(I have her September quilt loaded, ready to be quilted. You will have to stay turned to view it. All I will say right now is that it is blue and yellow>)
