Double feathered star
I participated in a sew-along with Cindy Williams, and this is my completed block. It is 28 1/4” unfinished. Working on designing some borders. This was sewn traditionally.
Her next sew -along will be a triple feathered star....anxious to tackle that!
I believe a few other board members were participating in this project as well...hope to see their blocks soon!

That's absolutely gorgeous! The colors are great and your piecing looks perfect! Did you enjoy this process? I love working on very precise things, sometimes.
Congratulations - what a challenge!
How do you sign up for the sew-alongs?

Cindy has a Facebook page-Cindy Williams the math whisperer-and she will announce her next sew-along there. She is collaborating with Marsha McCloskey for the triple feathered star. Cindy created a private Facebook group for those that signed up, and she released the instructions there. Best “class” I have ever taken. She made this easy.

Love your double feathered star. I have the 4 corner blocks to add to mine.
The class was wonderful. Cindy Williams provided easy to follow instructions and had a video for each step.
I’m looking forward to the triple star!
