    I called it a double due to the number of corners on the blocks, 12 (10 on SIC, 14 on TIC) as a quilter the 1st thing
    I see is the block. As a piecer the 1st thing most see is the chain which is single on this quilt. That's why I used the word "theme" in the title.

    That was my thinking on this top, and the wording of the title.
