Oh,your lovely quilt brought back memories of my Dad.Great work & love the border.

Rather than quilt the border, I 'wrote' all the things that I remembered that were specific to things I did or learned from my dad. (example: 'Special Memories; Boston University graduation weekend'). It came out very nicely and he was so pleased he cried!

Great idea with the memories quilted in. Your quilting looks fine, just keep practicing. and don't be such a critic of your work. We are all our own worst enemies when it comes to our quilts. So glad he loved it
