Thank you to whoever asked about this block. I think it's beautiful and drew it out in EQ.

Hubby even liked it, but when I told him I didn't have enough fabric to make a quilt with it, that I just used FQ, he said why did I bother showing it to him?

Ya'll remember I have trouble with HST? Well on these I did as I always do, drew a line down the middle and stitched on that line. They came out good.

So let me ask, why is it on HST that you would stitch on either side of the line? I'm just not getting it :(

Tuesy, I really like that block, it's very pretty. The reason you stich on either side of the line, is that the line is your cutting line. Once the two seams are stitched, you cut on the line running corner to corner and you have two squares made up of 1/2 square triangles. Does that help, or just confuse you more?

Love that block! It is really pretty!

About the HST....you have to allow extra for the seam allowance.

You all might try ebay for EQ...thats what I did...got it for $35.00 and love it!

I love your block and the fabrics are so pretty. You could do a scrap quilt using a different fq. for each block. If you continue with the soft florals or pastels you would have a lovely Spring quilt.

Wow, the block is interesting. Do you have a sample of what the whole quilt will look like when it's together?
