    No she did it on her long arm machine. By free hand she meant she did not use stencils or pantograms and a computer was not used to quilt the design.
    I've hand-quilted one tabletopper - and while I did enjoy it, I much prefer using a machine to quilt. I like a more immediate gratification - hand quilting like this would have taken me a year at least!!! My hat goes off to my grandmothers and great-grandmothers who did hand quilting.

    Oh my, that is pretty! Lovely quilting, I'd look at it with a magnifying glass all day long, the quilting is so pretty!

    You have done a magnificent job on restoring it to nearly new, the quilting is beautiful, you deserve a "ribbon" for all of the work and time that has gone into it.
