I'm just finishing my quilt in this pattern with batiks and a black background. We made these blocks in a class and exchanged pieces with each other to get more colors in our blocks. We left them on point with batik sashing, but I made mine with a strip of black sashing on each side to make the blocks "float".
I'm thinking about using the Boston Blocks for the border and arranging them in a twisted ribbon or pyramid pattern.

We started with 6 inch squares and ended up with 4.5 inch squares. They are just Boston Blocks. Sew a piece of background on one side and sew that onto the center square with partial seaming. It's all so easy when you know what to do.

Love this pattern and thought I would try and do it in Repo 30's fabric. Hope I can find the pattern.

Default Oops my bad - so sorry

The pattern was from McCall, must have been a Moda fabric when I saw the pattern.
