Love your quilt and the purpose behind it! I hope the buyer donates it back to the school since it has the handprints on it.

I found a similar quilt on Pinterest and have started planning a similar one for my daughter's Kindergarten teacher.

Beautiful and unique. I hope it will raise lots of money. I am familar with GiGi's playhouse. I have a 2 year old granddaughter with Down Syndrome. She had an evaluation in Atlanta last year and will visit there for assessments and education for years to come. It is a wonderful organization.

Great quilt! Great idea! And I agree that it needs to stay at the school. The kids would enjoy seeing their handprints on the quilt hanging in a place of honor.

I made a quilt using the pictures a kindergarten class drew on blocks, back when I was teaching. The principal liked it so much because the kids signed their blocks, she hung it in the main office! The kids were delighted!

I agree giving it back, but rather to the teacher as it will sure warm her heart and the school gets the donation.
