    Default Downes syndrome donated quilt

My niece has a 4yr old son with Downes syndrome. The last couple of years I have made them lap quilts for their Gala auction at GiGi's Playhouse. GiGi's works with these children and has made an amazing difference with her son. This year I had her have each child trace their hand on a piece of fabric and told her I would come up with some sort of quilt. They are all ages so I got all sizes. Here is what I did for them. I hope it brings a lot of money to help sup port GiGi's Playhouse.

Wow! That is fantastic! Love how you had the kids participate by using their hands as inspiration. I hopes it brings a high auction price as it looks like the time and effort you put into it is considerable :-)
