I got the airplanes on my second kit Sharon. It's so cute! I'm going to take the web site address to our quilt guild meeting next Wed. Should get quite a few people to do them there too. Such a great cause!!!!!!!

I got the same fabrics as scrappylouisa. They are SEW CUTE!!! I just finished it today but went out and bought more kid fabric today to make their D9Patch pattern. It is strip piecing which I love! The other D9Patch I made was all squares. This will be fun!

    ctquilter,

I got the same kit and it says to was after making the quilt. It is high quality fabric so that is how I do other quilts made from good quality fabrics. It washed up beautifully.

Yesterday was our quilt group meeting and I took the Quilt For Kids quilt I made and everyone wants to sign up and make some, too. The quilt was very easy to do and went together quickly and is so bright and cheerful. The fabric is wonderful all ways...prints, colors and quality. We're excited about this project.

Not sure if you are referring to mine, but I used serpentine stitching on the green frogs quilt and straight stitching on the bugs quilt. I used a decorative stitch on the binding. Not sure of the name of the stitch, but kind of like a feather stitch I think. The serpentine is great...very forgiving if you can't stay exactly in the ditch!
