Hopefully my kit is on its way to me!

I mailed off 3 completed quilts to them Thursday (2 from kits, 1 from stash), so need to go order some more kits! :D

I think they ask for one from stash for each kit so I'm not ordering another kit until I have one from stash on stand-by. Even if I order 2 at that time, I'll only need to do the kits and one extra from stash, sending my spare along with them for a total of 4.

Postage was more than I expected it to be this last time so I'd like to bundle them when I can.

Postage was more than I expected too. I wonder what the cheapest carrier might be. I sent mine by parcel post. Is UPS better?

I've checked high and low for low cost postage...the Postal Service seems to still the the lowest..or at least in my area it is.

sandpat, the USPS said I should check with UPS, believe it or not. Maybe it has something to do with our location compared to PA.

intoquilting, I also sent parcel post because I used a box I had at home. It was slightly less than the flat rate boxes...I think it was just under 2 lbs. for 2 complete quilts. I think I figured I could get more into a slightly more expensive flat rate saving money by mailing quilts in bulk. If anyone figures out a better process, I'd appreciate it if you'd post.

Finally got my Quilt for Kids finished, mailed Jan 13th & got an e-mail they received it on Jan 15th. I really enjoyed making it & asked for another kit. Hope to buy up some children's themed fabric to make one of my own to send. I feel this is such a worthy cause and I'm sure all the children's faces light up when they see them.
