Thanks for the link. How soon do they want these quilts back? I have several things I am working on, and just want to make sure I know what the deadline is.

    Watterstide,

I love this quilt. I have a 11yos who just loves space. Would you mind sharing with me how large these squares are that you did. He would love it for either his birthday or Christmas. Just trying to decide how big I want to make it. He doesn't necessarily need a new one for his bed, I just thought of making it for a TV watching quilt or a reading quilt.

    Thanks

I just got my kit yesterday and I was reading where they want them back in 4 to 6 weeks. It came with some really cute fabric duckies and umbrellas in blue, green, and yellow.

    A very cheerful quilt indeed!!

I signed up too. And there is a chapter not that far from me. I've been searching for something where I can make a difference. Just a personal commitment I want to make for myself.

    Hi!
I just received my quilt package. Really cute, it is for a girl. I just have to figgure how much fabric it will take to make one for a boy. I will have to buy some iof it since I don't have very much of the child type fabric in my stash.

I signed up just 4 days ago & got my kit today. It's mostly blue w/yellow & red strips, I think 6" blocks of a kiddie type print (some robot figure) & looks really easy. It'll be a week or two before I get to it, but am glad I found a charitable cause to quilt for. I live in a rural area without large medical facilities and this is a great way for me to get connected. Thanks for the link.
