    Default Doxie Tote Bag

My sister recently turned 65 and has retired from many years of working with special needs kids. She will miss all the students she has worked with but is looking forward to doing some of the crafts she use to do. So I made her a tote bag with Dachshunds on it because she has two beautiful doxie fur babies. I found a great dog motif to stitch the top of the pocket. I just received video that my nephew took when she opened it. She cried so it made me cry. Such a simple thing to give a little joy.

What a wonderful present! I love the Dixie stitch along the pocket edging. Wonderful detail!
