I need to use your idea, because that is just the thing that I have been wanting to do. Yours turned out fabulous. What a great idea.

That is a very nice quilt and a great idea to do everything at once.

Wow! I really LIKE that quilt. Your seaming between the blocks is so even. I have tried the QAYG and am never satisfied with my topstitching to finish them off. I can't hand-stitch because of arthritis in my hands and wrists. I love how narrow and understated the piecing of each block is. I see so many black/white and red quilts, have been collecting fabrics to make one, and now can't decide which pattern to use. Am getting ready to make a grey with just a touch of red turning twenty..again for my DGS for his 16th birthday.

Really cool looking quilt on both sides. You've given me a great idea about the quilt I need to make next for DGD, pattern is attractive and quick - two things I love in a quilt. May in Jersey

Oh goody, you've inspired me. I've been collecting black and whites, mostly fat quarters, and recently got a couple of gorgeous reds as a door prize. I've been thinking about mostly black and white with just a bit of red. Got a bunch of other stuff to complete first.
