I didn't have her help cutting -- she probably would have done fine but I am still a bit nervous of the blade.

She all of the piecing for the top except the last 3 big row seams. It went OK, but her quarter inch got quite scant in a few places. I secretly sewed over those few places when she went to bed

In the corner of the feather I also signed her name with a heart since it was gift -- she was really proud of the project.

I have several projects in the works to spark my two girls sewing interest -- pillowcases, purses, aprons, simple doll quilts and anything else easy I can think of. For Easter instead of candy in a basket I gave them each a sewing basket.

I love Dr. Suess. Your quilt brings back so many memories of when my children were small. The Cat in The Hat was always our favorite bedtime story. love your quilt.

What a bright, happy quilt! It is so nice that you get your young daughter involved!
She'll be quilting on her own....soon!!
