I started this with no plan or pattern in mind and just cut fabrics to fit around the panel pieces. I would like to make it bigger, none of the rows are sewn together yet. I still have over a 1/2 yard of the green and blue prints and over a yard of the red strip and wording. I was thinking of the red polka dots as a thin 1 inch border then the white fabric with all the wording? But want to use the stripped fabric also ideas???? I guess I should plan better

I can't help you but I love this fabric! I don't plan either and it doesn't always work out :)

I just love Dr. Seuss! I rarely plan either, but something always works out. Just keep on adding things until the size is right. You can always add more red!

how about adding a full stripe either across or down of the extra fabric. might set it off well. just keep trying different things. I like your start though. I have all the same fabrics but have not had time to do anything with them

Absolutely adorable!! One of these days I'll get the courage to cut into my Dr. Suess fabric.
