    Gingerd, I love that quilt and the colors you chose! Is there a free pattern? I tried looking for it, but could only come up with this...

    It seems like there's a few important steps missing. Maybe I just can't read between the lines. Love your quilt though! Thanks for posting! Nice tote too!

    The directions that you've found are the Shattered Angles basic instructions for the quilt shown on the Martingale site. Within the book they've titled that one Sacred Places. There is one using those instructions for a quilt called Jelly Beans (black/white with colored angles).

    The Dragon Bones pattern is within that book. The instructions are different. I didn't use what you've found at all.

    Dragon Bones is farther into the book.

    The title of the book is Accent on Angles by Susan Purney Mark.
