    Default Dragon for my Granddaughter

My granddaughter loves Dragons and during her recent 10 day visit she asked me to make her a wallhanging. She is 12 and helped with tracing and cutting the pattern but asked that I do the rest. I got the pattern from fatcatpatterns.com I have not done any machine appliqué work before (I do it by hand) and I also don't machine quilt (I send my projects out) but thought this would be a good piece to practice on. She really likes it and we had a good time so that's what counts.

well heck even a non dragon lover would have to like this cutie dragon guy. You both did a great job, the dragon is wonderful and beautiful (if dragons can be beautiful)I bet she is very proud of her grandma.

That is so kool. Even better is the time spent with your DGD. She will have this for a long time along with the memories of the two of you together working on this. That is what it's all about. BrendaK
