    I finally finished putting together the top for my "dragon" quilt. It's going to be a present for my Mum, she looooves dragons and fantasy things...

    It has 900 blocks in it, each measuring 2 inches square (not incl. seam allowance). I used an old cross stitch pattern for the design but used my own colour scheme.

    I just need to make and add the border and stitch on the eyes before I quilt it! Just thought I'd share this with y'all because I'm pleased with how it came out.

    That's wonderful. I have always wanted to do some cross stitch patterns for quilts. The 2" squares though would scare me out of my mind. As well as all those pieces. But you have done it beautifully.
