Your work looks wonderful. Did you starch the roll downs? I'm wondering what would happen when you wash it if you don't stitch them down.

1-4 1/2 inch batik square, 4-2 1/2 X 4 1/2 inch batik rectangles, 2-2 1/2 inch batik squares, 1-1 1/2 inch batik square(head) I believe these are the pieces but I trimmed the head section after assembling that section to fit.
I thought it would be hard but it came together well. I wouldn't attempt sewing the sections together though without stay stitching the fold back pieces on first. I think 3 of this size blocks stacked perpendicular will make a pretty spring wallhanging.
I really like the quilt pattern too and now that I see how it works, I will order the pattern to add to my " to do" list of quilts.
For those interested...the pattern name is Dance of the Dragonflies and it can be found at http://www.southwindquilts.com/shop/...sku-SWD321.htm I don't know if the link will work as I am computer challenged.

this is post 14 for those who have inquired

Pretty. I have made a couple of these dragon flies and a turtle w/ this technique. It is a fun and relatively easy technique once you get the hang of it.
