    Kind of freehand-lol!!! I use a coloring page for the outer lines then fill in free hand on the inside. Lots of practice, still so many things I want to master with my machine..

    This is a customer quilt but I just called the quilt shop and it is made by Northcott and is called Dragonfly Days. She does have kits available if you are interested...

    I had a "green" moment when I saw your quilt. Did you quilt it? If so, How long did it take you, and how long have you been quilting? I am trying to get an idea of how many years I have to do this before I get good. hahahah

    I worked off and on for a day or two on it...the center of the quilt took the longest. Practice is the only way to go, that and drawing on a daily basis. I draw all my designs out first..All of my work is basically freehand...

    I LOVE this quilt. You are a great inspiration for me. My Daughter loves dragonflies and I have wanted to do a quilt using them. I won't copy, I promise, but it surely has given me some nice ideas.
