    Great job giving your orphan block a home. I like your idea for using a shirt for the pillow back. Thanks for sharing that great idea!

    You have given me an idea to suggest for our guild's next challenge:

    Choose an orphan block and use it to inspire you to make a quilt project...wall-hanging, pillow etc....Thank you!

    Your pillow is very pretty. It is such a nice way to use a block that would become an orphan. I also think your use of a shirt complete with button panel is a great idea.

    Great looking pillow. love a good looking Dresden. I have seen sweaters an shirts used often for pillows for the ease of the button strips.
