    I love that Dresden plate. If you wanted, you could lay a piece of a different color under the plate as you stitch it down. Yellow centers? All different colored centers? ? ? ?

    Love your Dresden! Are the gray pieces "loose" on the top part? Does it have a 3D effect? That's the way it looks to me in the pic.

    I use Edyta Sitar's shooting star pattern BUT there is a round center you applique on top. I like this finished center way better - not sure how to go about finishing it that way though. Any tips?

    Absolutely beautiful. Of course the assembly is a mystery to me, but it seems that the smaller "petals" are inserted between the larger petals. But-- can't figure out the pointed tip facing the center. Just a guess. I love the dahlia.

    I love the center of this.... would also like to see a "how to" as I love doing Dresden Plate design and this is so beautiful and interesting.
